You know, as I was younger, I used to really hate living here (ha! as if I lived anywhere else) and while now I appreciate it, although I don't ever 100% agree with our government. Especially within the past 4-5 years, I've really started to TRULY appreciate living in my town. FAR better than the cities I've lived in, I wouldn't trade it for anything. :D

dude.. i HATE where our government is going.. but that doesnt stop me from loving the culture here. i hear what you're saying though lol XD i kinda always had a different view on being "patriotic" though.. my birthday really doesnt help that XD.. but my great grandma (who also shared my birthday) loved this country, and she kinda taught me that love. she pretty much lived through everything too :I from the world wars- the great depression- the invention of computers->internet->allthatshitmang!.. it's crazy what she had to say about it all..
