This is where it gets complicated. Kyshrakk grew up with a simple faith, believing in things like spirits and inherent connections to nature and all that new age mumbo jumbo. It was a warm blanket on his soul to have something like that, a simple harmless belief, keeping him company as he grew up and the world changed. Reality, then, took a different path when he transformed into the Orc he is now, thrusting onto him a very different metaphysical reality. The world he lives in has become an amalgamation of seemingly magical forces and technology, advancing at an even more rapid pace when all that magic simply became more science.
Kyshrakk has always believed he had a wolf side to him, a guiding spirit. Imagine his surprise when an advanced AI in the form of a combat mech modeled after a Wolf contacts him, revealing itself to be that very other half of himself. Kyshrakk is not even a cyborg, yet there's a distinct resonance between himself and the machine. Together, they set out to survive the long journey ahead. Wherever that may lead them.
Oh, and that blade is really sharp.
