Here's detail from one of my oil paintings (real actual paint!) for sale at the 2013 FWA's art show.
I spent a long time thinking about the person that may want to purchase this. I think there's an individual out there that needed a cathartic symbol of a wrong they overcame. If this person is real, and you know her, please point her to the FWA art show. Thanks!

At first glance I got a kind of Shadow of the Colossus vibe from this. Big flying monster taking up the majority of the canvas and a tiny little hero person in the lower left ready to take it on. Goes to show you the power of a crop. This is a powerful piece no matter how you look at it though. Is the full work online anywhere, or is it going to be FWA exclusive?
Weird what the eye can see, even when it isn't there. :) I agree that the remainder of the image really helps ground it. Also adds a different kind of emotion to the work as a whole. Like I said before, it's a powerful image. I hope it sells well for you at the show.
Man this online representation of this does the original no justice. I loved it so much. I hope to see more of your traditional work at conventions in the future, possibly even get one someday :D
I never did get to see any end bids since I was stuck in the den, hope this went for a good amount!

This has to be my favorite work from your gallery (not just because I'm biased towards oil painting). I really like that your works get sort of abstract, but I think this one is more special becuase it's hard to distinguish the figure (at least compared to your other works). The values that make appear the hands in a subtle way is really a great touch next to the roughness of the head/muzzle
nope. too much for words. i rely solely on hand gestures.
but seriously i dont think i ever showed you where i put it in my apartment, but it is on the wall in my bedroom with the pieces i got from coyox and occasionally i forget and just get stop and stare at both of them because jeeze
