This piece could have easily been too dark even with the dappled-grey pelt, the addition of gold really brightens it up and aids in that highlighting depth and light. I also love how airy the gold spinning has made an otherwise heavy looking steed.

I know it is an old piece of art, but it one of my favorites of yours. It is a powerful pose, is he ready to leap, fly or fight. He could be in a defensive pose, or ready to wrap his wings around a mate in warm hug. Keep up the good work, enjoying wandering thru your galleries all over again
