This mild-natured little ball of cheese is Fork, Puce’s Pikachu. She found him in the forest, desperately wanting a Pikachu on her team. Before Puce, tho, Fork lived with his only brother, Taser on a Pichu ranch, where they lived and were being raised and eventually turned into Raichu. They didn’t like that idea and escaped and lived in the wild for most of their young lives. Fork pretty much existed only to be protected by his older brother. How he received his forked tail was actually due to an unfortunate not-thought-out escape from a Beedrill. Naive, but overall happier than his brother, Fork was actually the first to evolve into Pikachu. Taser not too long after, once realizing what was important. Then one day, Puce captured him and named him. Taser tried getting his brother back from her, but Fork agreed to go with Puce, knowing that he wasn’t going to get stronger having his brother protect him all the time. Fork promised to come back, and Puce promised to never evolve him.
After training with the… enthusiastic and determined Puce, Fork actually did become a very strong Pikachu, knowing other various moves, like Brick Break and Dig. Puce has a theory that if Pokemon can say their names, they can speak human language. Puce is trying to prove her theory by teaching Fork different words to say. Sometimes it sounds like he’s saying other words, but nothing Puce can prove unfortunately.
Traits: Dark brown eyes and light markings. And of course his forked tail for which he was named. Not to mention his adorable fluffy jewfro.
How I draw Pikachu: The younger they are, the fatter I draw them. Once a Pikachu matures, I make them more slender and agile. Fork is pretty young for a Pikachu, so he hasn’t quite grown out of his baby fat yet, but he is still a quick one. They’re pretty much the only Pokemon where I don’t add details to the ears. I now make their tails more jagged, and not like a Z.
