Oh man, this fuckin' sprite, man..
Lemme tell you about this thing.
First of all, thanks to
for the commission.
Secondly, this sprite. Fuck. It's big. Lots of beads. A solid square. That in itself can be a problem. Hard to explain why unless you're a bead spriter yourself. It just is.
Thirdly, these green beads suck dick. Hardcore. And not in the sexy fun way. They're different than perler beads..different height, different size. Very difficult to iron and fuse. Yes, there are alternating colors.
The bitch fell apart on me after ironing one side..wound up repairing it. Very delicate stuff. I added a foam backing so it wouldn't just crumble on it. Took a while.
Then when I tried to photograph the damn thing, I got glare. Glare everywhere. .Even this shot has a ton of glare in it. I reduced the picture size so it's actually visible..but it still has bad glare.

1,482 beads. No WIP 'cause I couldn't get one that didn't totally suck. Sorry.
