i miss going to cons, haven't been able to afford it, and i don't feel comfortable sharing a room with others. not that i don't trust other furs, I don't trust myself.

mreow, cons are awesome, but can be expensive, my first ac, my parents came to pick me up, and the first thing my mom sees is a man wearing a skin tight gazelle suit dancing around. it was kinda embarrassing, but i have kinda cool parents.

oh, that was easy, they always knew i loved animals, and when i told them i was a furry, all it did was give my passon a name, the hard part was coming out of the closet, which i did a couple years before my first ac.

i have a habbit of tripping over my own tounge. so i try not to explain it, i just say, I'm a furry, if you don't know what it is, go to anthrocon.org and read up.

That's the scarey part. They might research too far and see the bad stereotypes and stuff that may turn them off. Like stuff that seems normal to us, being part of the furry fandom. Babyfur, vore, inflation.. The ones that aren't typically normal.

true, when i do explain furry fandom, i try to explain the love of cartoons and animals, kinship with creatures and close freindships.
