A gift for my mother for her birthday. She is to many people, the Monarch Lady - every year she travels to Mexico in February to visit the butterflies in their colonies. It is a beautiful sight to behold, and every year she comes back with amazing stories to tell. I love my mom, and her ability to hold the world in such awe.

Ps - the scan is crap, the grass is much more green on paper but I couldn't get that to show up and I don't feel like messing with it in photoshop. This is india ink pens, prismacolor markers and colored pencils.
