lol i literally slap a bunch of colors together that look weird together and then blend until it looks nice
ive always liked the idea of using different, unexpected colors to shade with instead of a greyer/darker shade of the base color
its aaaaallllll about the blending
its easier to do in paint tool sai because of its grreeaaaat water brush but you can learn to blend with pretty much any program :)

hmmmmmm... i should see if fire alpaca has a water brush or not.

hmmmm ive never heard of fire alpaca
ill try it out and post my results :)
