This is just a progress photo. They're very close to done, but I just noticed I'm out of both strapping and sliders, so I can't make the harness yet, so they're not wearable.

He he he. No, I think they're a little big for her. She just insists on being in most of my photos. Any photos you see that don't have her in, it's probably because I cropped her out.

Those do look very cool. I like the black and gold . . . and yes, a bit big for kitty, but if you have a cat that doesn't completely wig out at being "dressed", a miniature set made out of the same fabrics would look fabulous *grin*

What is it that you use to make the base skeleton out of? Whenever I make wings I just use grounding wire, but I can't tell what you've used in this picture.

It's delrin rod, a kind of industrial plastic that's pretty strong and flexible. So long as you get pieces without bubbles in them anyhow, these wings ended up having a few problems.

Delrin rod? Can't say I've heard of that. Would you consider it better to use that over grounding wire?

Never used grounding wire, so I really have no idea how they compare.

I'd highly suggest it. its strong, flexible and really dirt cheap.
