The second in the series (obviously) now in color! (even more obviously)
Most of these characters are remakes of old chars that I had, unfortunately, neglected and payed no attention to while I was developing others.
Take a good look at Barudo in the right corner... almost broke my hand trying to ink all that hari. (shuriken-esque chain links)

I love the little addition I made to the weapon. Essentially, there's a switch located close to the handle of the blade. If pressed, the links between the hari separate. Each link has a peg in the center that allows each hari to rotate on a swivel, full 360 degrees. When the switch is pressed, the hari will detatch and separate and still stay attached by a long, strong garat wire through the center and inside each hari. So the chain can lengthen almost three times it's size, then with a tug, can snap back and lock into position to make for a deadly little weapon.
Since the hari are hollow too, each one is full of a special kind of poison that Barudo himself concocted... but here's the kicker. He's always got a steady supply and never needs to make any through conventional means. Through the storyline I made for him, his blood is highly acidic, and through the countless torture attempts when he was captured during some routine missions, when certian venoms and anti-venoms were given to him as means of said torture, his blood and body reacted in ways nobody would fathom. Certain bits and reside from these poisons remained in his blood stream and somehow mutated it further.
He was kept alive as his body naturally adapted through unknown ways... but there has been one major setback to such a defense. It's rendered him almost completely blind.
