This is a rework of my earlier concept piece http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9310287/
I corrected a number of things that was bothering me on the first version and I'm sure some more things will change as I go. IF anyone sees something that they think might be a problem (I found something just now that I'm going to change) please feel free to point it out.
The face will probably end up looking a bit more realistic once I get to it.
I have been debating on what to do with the BG. I had originally planed on doing realistic plumage(Thought of that was making me curl up in a fetal position under my desk) but I am leaning now towards a stylized mosaic appearance with perhaps maybe just 3 to 5 realistic feathers. (this reasonable thought allowed me to come out from under my desk).
Let me know if you would like to see a WIP progression of this piece.

You know, you hear the phrase "something else" thrown around a lot. Artists come and go, and their work is absolutely valid and wonderful. And then you find one that stands out like a Ferrari in a parking lot full of hatchbacks. At risk of sounding like a total buttkisser, that's what you are, Teiirka: Something else. God given talent and hard work. You understand things about color I could only guess at and your anatomy work is impeccable. They all work together so well it's seamless. Forgive the gushing, I just love art and I talk too much sometimes n.n;
