I think this is the cutest couple in the FH Comics...It all started with this one panel in July awhile ago & it still just inspires me to draw them. I think they are like pistachios. You can't just stop in having one. I wanted to draw a comic...but instead of saying anything in it, I wanted it to convey a moment between them.
I think of this like a very late Valentine comic of them since I have done of the others...
Also I needed to work on my comic skills in romance. I think I rush things. I am not sure... do I rush it? I mean... do I convey some sort of emotional connection between characters or do I just put it out there?
Anyway... the song that inspired this, is Blake Lewis' "Your Touch"
I sometimes think that it just went with the whole, writer having a secret crush kind of theme... Also I used a touch of Adventure Time kind of style mixed with manga... I don't know...

Well, it's mainly in drawings/commissions you see on the web (such as this site). Alot of the male bunnies in those drawings are either gay or bi like Campy (although ALOT more open about it)
... Or atleast that's how I've perceive it. Idk, forgive me, I tend to look at a lot of dirty stuff whenever I'm given internet capabilities.

I think it's based solely on the fact that rabbits are cute. and free spirited so It's sort of like the person using the species as their sona' saying that they're proud of who they are. Or it's just because everyone loves rabbits and it's easier to garner attention for oneself if they pose as a rabbit. Especially if they play the "Shy gay boy" role or are very open about. I dunno, I just like to over analyze fucking everything lol
wait... Could it be because Bugs always dressed as a woman & kissed men in his cartoons?
I always thought that Rabbits were generally clever & quick witted... I really never thought that rabbits represented being gay but more like... well.... just generally very ....errrr.... well..... amiable. You know...they have a reputation of being.... well you know the expression.... ".....Like a rabbit...."

That's what I thought when the thought hit me when I was watching "The Looney Tunes Show"!
But I'm still not sure on that theory. Maybe we should consult
lapinbeau on this matter, he seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to these sort of crack-pot theories.

I really like this style you've been using in the latest ones, it's relatively simple and works well. Also I do think you've done the wordless emotional thing and the pacing well, it conveys what you intended in the right way. Awesome work as always c:

Thanks for liking this./...& the style too... the style is fun to draw & I am so happy that it does work out when I draw them. I have to admit they are my pistachio couple. I doodle them... Also, I am glad I got the emotions right... I mean I was thinking of them speaking to each other, but I found the dialog bubbles distracting~ so I just put it in.... You rock with your comics & I am on pins & needles to see what happens between Campy & Kale.
I know... I know... your not there yet.... but I am still cheering it on... it is like...waiting for Donatello & April to seal the deal in the cartoon...
