The town is better now, but I would like hazard pay for working outside in -40 degrees.

Yeah and todays economy really hasn't any openings for professional Bomber maintenance personal. Take for instance a friend of mine who was stationed at Reese AFB, he got out weeks after I did. I was a mainframe computer operator and trust me, in Lubbock Texas there was only one call tr the time for that, Texas Instruments. He was an armorer, like me he ended up working for Noret Theaters. I managed to slip into TI a year later, he was still showing movies until he left town four years later.

Suck it up, do your twenty then take off with your 1/2 pay and never, ever look back.

Well, still gotta say, it's nice chatting with someone who's been there. We'll see what my options end up filtering too.

His model was TOO close to the B52 which has a nasty fatal flaw.... if the plane banks too hard, it has zero control surfaces available and tumbles to the ground
