This is an older drawing that's been lurking around...2006 I think? The sketch is just a concept for a furry/martial arts buddy story that never got realized. Joe is the smart alec Austrailian boxer and Fu Lin the serious kung fu expert from Hong Kong. Together they battle wits and crime!

Good question! It's made with light blue so I can later decide on what to ink over all the lines. A lot of animators and cartoonists sketch in this type of pencil and the blue doesn't show up in certain printing, like for comic books.

For goofy quips, I would recommend Double Dragon Neon. For fans, it's a bit of a Love It Or Hate It deal because of the sheer silliness, but for folks who are willing to forgive a tone shift after so many decades (Hell, I still remember Double Dragon 5 and actually kinda enjoyed playing that), the silliness is truly something.
