Back in 2002 I got a Professional mascot gig as Sealvester, the seal, for a Hockey Team called the Orlando/Florida Seals. They were based out of Orlando Florida and they replaced the Orlando Solar Bears, who folded like a year before. We originally played in the TD Waterhouse arena. The same Arena were the Orlando Magic NBA team played. Later the team moved to the Silver Spurs Arena. I even brought Sealvester out to a couple Megaplex conventions as the celebrity guest mascot for the games. I was their mascot for all five seasons, but just like the Solar Bears, they folded too, not because of no fan base. There was a huge fan base.
