Well things have been rough lately for me. Mom giving me the boot and stressing over if I can bring our cat with me, not having any furniture, not sure if I could afford anything...all that was giving me a melt down of epic proportions.
I finally have some good news. I have landed the apartment, the housing manager accepted my documentation so I can keep our cat, friends and a couple family members are pooling together to help me get things for the apartment, and doing my budget I see it's going to be super tight, but I'll keep my head above water some how. When I got the news I could keep our cat I flat out cried. I could no more leave him behind than my son, it was such a burden off my shoulders. Keeping Magick means stress relief for both my son and myself and no night terrors for my son at night. It's amazing how a cat can be the proverbial glue that holds you or a family member together.
THEN!!! I came home (soon to not be home) to a box. My Omi doll that I'd commissioned from
came in! She is so adorable and soft! I love her so much!!! I can't tell you just how much it made me smile. Like the icing on the cake for good news today!!

Aww hon I'm sorry things have been so hellish but it makes me smile to know that things are at least turning around for you. Believe me I know what you mean about how important a cat can be. I miss my Charlie and he helped me though some very rough times. It was the hardest thing for me to hear he had to be put down due to kidney disease from advanced old age but at least he had us as a loving family for the last 12 years of his life.
I's sure Magick is more than just the glue that holds you guys together and it's nice to know he has a safe home :)
2012 was a HELL year...It may not have been the end of the world but it sure felt like it and I'm g;ad to see that this year at least is getting better for you even if its one step at a time.

I am just so relieved an happy. Honestly, the stress has me so very exhausted today. When I get done with errands I may have to lay down before packing a bit. Had to take Magick to get his shots updated (went ahead and got the rabies shot done a bit early while we were at it) and got V's note saying bunnies don't get rabies shots.
