Wow, quite an age for a cat. Only two and a half years younger then our oldest. I hope she lived well at that age.

Sadly, she had squamous-cell cancer (a type of skin cancer) for a couple years before she died. As long as she was comfortable, we cared for her, but as so often happens, we eventually had to make a tough decision.
