I know this was a commission, so I'm not sure if they asked for the tail that specific size or not.
If you were going to make another though, might I suggest you make the tail smaller or thinner? At it's current size it looks like it might fall off, or get in the way. Just a suggestion though, it still looks cute!

I pretty much made it exactly as the commissioner drew it out-- if I ever get another shark tail commission, I'd love to try making it with more of a realistic touch.
I think the goal with this specific one was extremely toony and squishy.

It is sewn in very tight, however, have no fear!
