...to be a nerd.
no this is not me as a kid,
I'm a full grown adult and yes when little to no one is around
I play with action figures. I love them, as a teenager I use to
love to sculpt but I haven't gotten back into it in a long time.
but, I still love coming up with fun scenarios with toys,
not to mention sometimes this helps my creative side start
clicking more, not sure why, but there is always fun creative
and hilarious moments to come out of this kind of thing.
same way when I poke fun at movies, it's a weird habit that
will be with me till I die.
however, in real life I wear pants,
It's just fun to draw a backside like this, lol.
hope you guys dig,
I have some more fun ideas like this that I may do
later, but for the mean time here is some more scratchings.

yea, as much as I love he-man figures I don't understand why they cost up in the $30
range per character yet all the justice league characters usually most expensive characters
are usually about $20, I don't really get it, the demand for he-man doesn't seem high
enough to price them like that.

They charge that much because they, usually the retailers, know you (or at least a lot pf very dumb parents) will pay that much.
An action figure used to be $0.75-$1.50 per inch height. So a MOTU figure would typically cost $5.00-$6.00 each. Some competing brands, some actually better than MOTU figures cost about the same, maybe less. GIJoe, Star Wars, and figure about that size, would be $3.00-$5.00 each. Usually $2.50-$3.50 each.
I can understand devaluation of the dollar and inflation, but not to the tune of $10.00 for ONE GIJoe and that don't even look as durable and the ones "back in the day". I was going to get a few HALO figures, because I'm a HALO fan, but at $15+ each... Uhm no. As detailed as they are, I'm not paying that much for figures I'm never going to play with nor give to kids to play with.

lol,
I pray I never find castle grey skull for cheap at a flea market,
I don't have room in my house for things like that, but it is awesome.
I've been trying to reduce my toy collecting, but I always find more
stuff, however about every year at the comic convention I do love
to find particular he-man figures that I do put a little money aside for.
way too much for an average toy purchase which is why when I buy
one the appreciation I have for it feels so much sweeter when enjoying.
these things are so cool, but not for an average collector it would seem. lol.

the funny thing is that's exactly where I found my castle gs, it was like 30 buck and it's nearly complete, it even has the original instruction booklet that came with it and the guy also threw in the first 3 issues of the original masters of the universe marvel comic books hehe
but yeah, that's where I got most of my collection was from garage and yard sales, and to think it all started because I remembered playing with my brother's leech figure on the sliding glass door at my uncles house back when we were little, now here it is nearly ten years after I started hunting those bad boys down and I have well over 50 of those guys plus the castles, some vehicles, book and record sets battle bones, thermos.....etc.
sorry for the long message but it's been a LONG time since I've geeked out like this, I was so into these things that I even made a short animation using some of the figures from my collection

I know it's terrible but I still had fun making it

I specifically loved, one of which was metal head
and the other of course Donatello but other then that I never
really had a huge love for turtles, however X-men......I love
my X-men too. lol.

The only toys from my toddler days I still remember fondly are
a.) my Donald Duck comics that I still have or bought again,
and
b.) my circa a hundred cassettes with audio plays on them.
Oh, and then there was that tiny orange plastic hand-cranked Super8 projector. I had two silent b/w Disney reels that I watched over and over on my own in our dark bathroom: One had a Donald & Chip'n'Dale cartoon, the other was Disney's 1937 short cartoon Little Hiawatha.

I don't know why, but I'd always have He-Man and Skeletor fight in the center of a ring (WWF/E Style) with Man-at-Arms as the special guest referee.
Probably because the idea of men who look like genetically-monstrous steroid-fueled colossi of muscles suplexing each other through wooden tables was an awesome idea at the time.

Lol I do this too sometimes, I play with gundam 1/144 models xD I remove their armor as if it destroyed while battling, the fun ends when I try to remove a part and it break for real
Havn't done that for quite time <_< I realy miss my childhood...
But Action Man (90s models) are the best toys I ever had, still keeping them :)
