Tried a few minor things to see what'd happen.
Was quite happy with the lineart, especially for freeform. O_o
Weird new technique shading wise, but I could see it working...

You're right about the shading technique wuffy, it certainly has potential and is actually a bit closer to RL shadows in a lot of ways. o.o I think it's just that one circular patch of lighting on your muzzle that throws me off. Otherwise though, this really is a nice drawing for something you tossed together. :3 I like it.~
