This is one of my characters, Devika and if you look in my gallery on DeviantArt, you'll see the pencil sketch I have of this one in there. I recently picked up a Wacom Cintique 24HD and this was one of my first tries at taking my older pencil line art, retracing and fixing up the line work in Paint Tool SAI and then coloring it. The Cintique speeds up my ability to do work two or three times over. I colored this in a matter of hours as opposed to days like it used to take with a mouse. My line work is a lot smoother and everything just ends up much cleaner than ever. I love it. Devika is a demon character though she's hardly as evil as the text may make her out to be. The background I thought up on a whim based on the boss and character intro splash screens from the games Borderlands and Borderlands 2. It's not perfect but I think it came out well. Hope you enjoy.
