Music: Mudvayne -1
Time taken: Done over a few days
Tools: psp7, photoshop, mouse
New character of mine, a robot doberman (I've been calling it a dobot or a robodobe).
I named it Calx after the aphex twin song 'blue calx' before I even realise the meaning of the word. Fits well.
Well, I've always wanted a character that uses neon green, and I've always loved the idea of the big scarey junk yard dog which appears at night from behind a stack of dead cars. I kinda imagine it to live in a futuristic blade-runner-esque world.
Im not a big mudvayne fan but I added their logo to its arm because their music inspired its design (as did a fair bit of weed) but the triangle logo is just a nice simplified logo which could mean a number of things.
I know some of the anatomy is screwed. Robotics is something I have absolutely NO experience in drawing. I just tried to make a simplified frame which could plausibly move. I know in places its too simplified or inplausible, but Im thinking that'll improve as I draw it more.
'It' because its genderless. I keep slipping and referring to it as a 'he', I don't suppose it matters.
