this is straight out of the sketchbook i had for my Elements of Drawing class at college. the assignment was: i had 10 weeks to draw 100 sketches, they had to show good composition, shading technique, and good perspective/proportions. also, we werent allowed to use color.

this is actually like sketch 88 or so, so it's one of the later ones. if you were to flip through the sketchbook, you would see that i was horrible in the beginning of the semester, but i steadily got better and better. this cheetah drawing is actually one of the sketches i am most proud of. even though i did use a reference pic.
