Aside from all the eye strain and bulkiness of the machine. At least, i hear the game was good, it was just the medium that sucked.

Yeah, it's a really good game. My VB is still in working order so I pull it out every now and then, but it's rough on the eyes. I'd like to see it get a 3DS eshop release, but I don't think it's very likely :(

I agree about it not being likely.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo basically said... "Let us never speak of this again" after the VB bombed.

If you ever get the chance, I recommend it! Maybe VB emulation has improved in the last 12 years

This Wario Land was perhaps the most obscure that I know of, for obvious reasons.
Then again, I've never played Virtual Boy, so I really can't speak badly of it despite what I've heard people say.

If there was any time for that 3D Wario Land to hit the Virtual Console for the 3DS, now would be that time. Or better yet, ANY Virtual Boy game. With grayscale graphics like with the game boy games instead of black and red.

I can't find the link any more, but if you google red cyan virtual boy, you might find that link to the people who remade the games to be compatible with you typical 3D glasses.
The effect is actually really nice considering you no longer have to have the huge system strapped to your head. XP
