*Takes out big lens and a pointer* ahem...If you have problems landing your hi-jump, try always to land with one foot first, flex it and then land the other. While you practice this, you can try to do a roll after landing to soften the landing.

Also an advice: AVOID forests or you may end stuck on a tree
