Took this last July. A very common situation I found myself in was aimlessly wandering the streets of downtown Kumamoto. Whenever this lizzy was bored, he jumped on his bike and rode to random locations. But, when night fell I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Downtown.

The center of Kumamoto was not only built around the castle, but two major shopping arcades. And branching from those shopping arcades were numerous narrow side streets chock full of culinary goodness.

I really like how this shot came out. It was nighttime, so light sources were very few and far between. I also kept the aperture wide open and the ISO cranked.
