When I first started playing, fresh off the boat, closed beta, I took up Troika pretty quickly. It was big, it was awesome, but it was slow. Both my friends, Biznasty and Decrous, had either Divine Avenger or Gran Faust already, but I kept pace with them nonetheless.. until we got to Beta Vanaduke (much harder). I eventually was forced to upgrade to Divine Avenger, because of no five star version of Troika.

However, there always was one hidden in the files. It's name is Gram, and its charge attack is a lightning bolt that blocks most of the screen. I dreamt of owning this weapon for a long time, even though it'd still be weaker than a DA. But my God, is it a lot cooler.

I asked Fruits for this very specific scene, to turn back the clock to when I still wore Vog Cub, and Vanaduke was still the strongest enemy.

I love how it turned out.

Funfact: For nearly half of closed beta, Troika's alchemy line could only knock enemies up, right, and down. If you tried to knock them to the left, they would go right. I literally had to go up to Nick, lead dev, to tell him to go look at it already.
