Taurs are hard, I really have no idea if this came out any good.
Anyway, racial example for my campaign setting. Going to be using 4e when it comes out, as I like me the sound of the mechanics. I'm not sure what to call them.

great idea, and nice design. altrhough in my opinion the lower bodies are way too small to be able to bear a human-sized upper body like that. I think they should at least have the size and mass of a small pony.
you're a dice-jockey, too, hm? welcome to the show. now throw for iniative. :)

As to wrong/right, I feel as if tine one in the foreground's lower section does not so much display the flow and shapliness that is a trademark of your style. Also, going with Anbessa, I'd say that filling them out down there might help a bit. While yours is anatomically correct, we all love larger paw pads and the accompanying fore/hind leg proportions. At least it would be fitting for the guard.
Of course that's just being negative to try and help. The piece is wonderful, your clothing/marking designs are spectatcular as always.

Oo ... You have no idea how much Win is compressed into this image right here. As a fan of Canines and Taurs, as well as races in the styles of ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, this is like my porn. ... I'm not into porn, but you know what I mean. xD Very good, and you've done the anatomy very well. If I did have to be a critic, however... the ever-hated critic. I'd have to say that the forelegs look rather small given the scale.
That's a great first stab at it. :) The upper bodies and the costuming are great, no complaints. ^.^ The lower bodies are too small though, especially the one on the left. The forelegs of the left one are too small (whereas all the legs of the right one seem to be on the short side). The paws also would need to be larger to distribute weight appropriately (especially given that the lower body will be increasing in size). But given that you hardly ever draw taurs this is quite a good first attempt, and the lower body problems don't detract from the picture a huge amount; it's clearly not a deficiency of skill. :)
I guess most people have said similar, but the taur parts do look a bit small. I think it's mostly just that when you look at the torso, you naturally expect the forepaws to be about as long as normal legs would be were they not taurish. Just making the taur parts bigger and perhaps making the forelegs/paws a bit larger than normal (to sort of mesh the legs/forepaw images together) might help!
Then again, I can't draw taurs myself :).
I like the armour a lot.
