Rejoining the Fandom: Who are you people? (G)

So, I've been out of the fandom for over 2 years. I'm somewhere different in my life. I sort of want back in. Just for a few months. I have some questions now for you people (nobody is gonna read this)
1)I think some of the mainstays are still active in the MiFurs scene like Synth, Ix, and....some other people....maybe. But do I still know anybody in there or have all the players changed?
2) Is MidWeek Movie meet still a thing? Of so is it an open event?
3) Can I bring beer?
