Hey there! Through some twist of fate you have come upon my userpage.
My name's not too important, but I'm a 20 year old student of Web Design who hails from southern Michigan. I am a jack of most trades, and tend to be able to do anything I try my hand at, short of body-kinesthetic things. I am an extremely bright and intelligent young man, and have test results to back it up. I love writing, and recently have gotten a taste for drawing anthro art.
My stories are almost always Science Fiction, and unlike many writers of Furry Fiction, mine put much more emphasis on the plot, rather than flicking tails and feeling each other's extremities. I don't write yiff, as that's not one of my interests. However, I do like to get graphic in my writing, so sometimes it may not be for the faint of heart. Although it doesn't look like I've written much, I simply haven't posted most of it on this website.
I have a very difficult time with short stories, opting rather for longer tales divided up by chapters and plot arcs. In my mind, stories never have an end, and while I don't believe in the shitty filler and pointless plot arcs that some Anime suffer from, I believe that if enough effort is given, a story can continue for as long as the writer wills. However, I don't write Inuyasha style stories, with the characters pursuing the same goal for 20 years, losing it's reputation in the process, filled with meaningless filler that serves to generate ad revenue (if I'm correct)... I constantly have new ideas. If I get bored of what my characters are doing, I'll alter their course through some event, or slowly swing the story into a new direction. I like my characters, and find it hard to part with them, which is why I hate writing short stories. I get a connection to the beings I create and put on paper, and it's hard to sever it.
[UPDATE] April 2010
I'm now educated in creating websites. It's my main hobby lately. I take commissions, at a reasonable price. My current project is http://starship-horizon.net (A Roleplay Guild's website). All for $30.
So yeah, if you read all that, please take a cookie from this imaginary plate. Feel free to eat it as well.
