Feeling super nostalgic for old internet times, today...

For when art platforms were actually active -- where I'd login to my 4 million new notifications every day and look through as many as I could before fleeing the chaos to work on my own art LMAO

Trying to make friends and failing miserably, but then reconnecting with those people years or even decades later & finding that they DID actually notice/remember me & now SOMEHOW we're pals???

As weird as the early internet was, and as much as it definitely probably traumatized me and messed with my poor child psyche..... I wouldn't be person I am now without it, and the connections I've made through it are seriously so incredible and special 💜

Furcadia, Neopets, old pixel games like Maplestory and Ragnarok and even Runescape, goofy Flash websites for all your favorite stuff like Pokemon or Gorillaz or whatever, all the way back to simple things like Hampsterdance and whatnot.....

Thinking about it just makes me feel happy and peaceful, which is a nice relief compared to how shitty the modern internet often makes me feel 🫠

Dunno.... Just thinking back fondly on it all!!

I'm so thankful for the crazy places it took me, & all the amazing friends and people I've met because of it 💜💜💜 Love you all so much!!!
