Xirevius belongs to a unique race known as a Zwdyysgian, an alien polymorphic species with the ability to evolve any part of their unmorphed body into that part of other species, a process that is irreversible until returning to their home world, and hence used rarely.

In Xirevius' case, he has evolved several parts of his body. The "spike & dreadlock" on his head are his evolved ears, the ear openings facing the rear and sharp in picking up various frequencies depending on which ear is open. His eyes and hair are both violet in color. His mouth houses a row of smooth conical teeth, his jaw akin to that of a dragon's. His neck is long to allow for flexible head movement whether he is on two feet or on all fours. One row of white plate-like scales line his underbelly, from base of chin to the tailtip, one section of his scale is inverted to make a secret pouch similar to a kangaroo's, possibly to carry the young, similar in trait as a seadragon. His tail extends as long as his body and is a finned like a whale or a dolphin's. His back sports two pairs of wings, pale sky in color and luminous in the dark.

Xirevius prefers to walk on two feet, but his body and leg structure allows him to walk on four feet for feral-like movement. His main mode of transportation, though, is flight. Having four wings is essential because his bones are dense and his muscles packed tightly to resist impacts and blunt damage. Despite the weight he is a great swimmer, having strong leg and tail muscles to hightail upstream. During the time he is submerged in water, his wings will retract into his four back pads and the yellow wing armor will latch onto his shoulders and knees.
