i don't really know how i feel typing this out if i'm honest, i have been an active member of this fandom for over 20 years now and i think it's finally time that i say goodbye to it.

Over the years i've met some amazing people, some terrible people and had some crazy times but personally for me the fandom has become something that just doesn't feel the same anymore and yes i understand things change with time but what this fandom has become is a clout chasing, cancel culturing witch hunt of a popularity contest and it's horrible to see something i've held so dear in my heart become something i cannot stand to be part of anymore. It's more about bragging and being part of a clique than just having a mutual meaningful connection about our interest in something we all share, as weird as it is haha.

The past few years especially have been pretty altering for me in the sense that i made a choice that i would stop being the one chasing people as i was almost always having to be the instigator in things to get anything going, so i had to do this to really see just how solid these friendships i've made over the years really are and as expected everything fell apart and i'm basically down to me, myself and i at this point. I don't mind it but it's just a shame overall how things end up.

i'm grateful for all the artists who were willing to take on some of the projects i had over the years and of course glad to have had the interactions with many of you here, there and everywhere over the years but i think it is finally time that i move on from something that i really don't even feel welcome in anymore. Fursuit or gtfo seems to be the overall idea of the fandom now and it's sad to see.
