I use Source Filmmaker to create animations or rendered images of canines and other creatures, which I like to sort of keep in the realm of realism, with some extra expressiveness added to things. My preference is with canines, mainly male/female stuff, though through commissions I have done some male/male things, and some other stranger things outside of my comfort zone.
I got into what I do back in 2016 when I grew frustrated at the lack of human male/female canine content, as well as feral/feral stuff, and I wanted to try and fill that void with some more content, or at least for myself, until one day I thought I thought about posting a project I had finished, so I did, and here we are.
I do take commissions, but only through discord as it is much easier to talk about details and other things there, so if you are interested in commissioning something, link is below. I also take requests when there are no commissions to work on, and credit those with the requested project.
I also can't do what I do without your support, as without it I just don't see myself really posting any projects, and likely would have walked away from what I do, or at the very least dramatically slowed down, and possibly only make content for myself. It with your support that I keep doing what I do, allows me to keep doing what I do, what I love, and what you all want to see. There are times when when work really slows down as I battle burnout, but work never stops completely. So if you want to join the many supporters of mine, please consider it, as it greatly helps me out a lot, and you gain early access to most finished projects, as well as WIP updates that are only posted to Subscribestar and the supporter section of the discord. You can also support me by becoming a "patron" at another platform linked in the discord (can't say that platforms name as by their request but didn't say I couldn't give a hint) which as long as your discord account is linked to either platform, gives you access automatically to the supporter section in the discord.

Giving an update on things (G)
4 years agoI have been sort of slow at getting content out lately, and that is mostly due to me fighting burnout. I enjoy my work, and I enjoy seeing others enjoying my work, but when doing it for this long it starts getting a bit difficult to keep doing this, as often, and as I make improvements overtime it just adds more that I have to do, and it gets to me. That being said, I am still working on projects, just taking my time with them as I wouldn't want to throw something together without much effort put into it, it just wouldn't be great for anyone really. There are plenty of projects in the list of things to do, so no shortage of work, but also no timescale as to when to expect these to be posted, as it is just one less thing for me to stress out over.
Over the past year and half I have also been battling a number of health issues, some tied to my weight, and some that to this day have not been able to figure out, at least not without exploratory surgery and other fun things like that. Last year when these things started I sort of went a long time without posting anything as I was just really depressed and extremely stressed out to where it made me sick, but it was just something I had to deal with at my own pace, still dealing with today, but I am far better mentally then I was, though still have a lot of work ahead of me to get back to a "stable" mental state I guess you could say, "Stable" or "normal" whatever fits better. With quite a bit of weight-loss and being more active in general has been good for my general well-being, though at the cost of being at my PC less often, which is another reason for things being slow going, but not being that big of an impact really.
So overall, I am fine. 80lbs lighter, somewhat improved health from last year despite some mystery still yet to be solved with some of these issues... I am in a better state then I have been minus the health issues, then I have been in several years. Work is still being done, projects are progressing, I have no plans to step away from what I do, I am just taking my time with things. As I have said I am not rushing things, I don't want to produce stuff that lacks in quality.
I also want to throw out there if not for the supporters over at Subscribestar, the other platform I can't name as by their request but have linked in my discord, as well as everyone in general, I don't know where I would be without you all right now, or if I would be still doing anything. All your support is what is really helping me though the seemingly endless stream of issues and other things I would normally have a hard time dealing with... also a great help at keeping me doing what I do. I am very grateful that I have so many people who enjoy the work I do, and support the work I do, I just don't know how to thank everyone... especially through times like this where I just have to take things slow. I said it already, but I don't have any plans to stop making content for all you to enjoy, and here is hoping I can keep doing this for a while longer.Oh and I want to also mention that I have an interest in switching out of Source Filmmaker for maybe Blender or Source 2 Filmmaker (or any other animation program able to handle higher quality assets), but with Blender I would need to sit down with someone who knows their way around Blender to help teach me to use it, and with S2FM, need to figure out some issues before I can consider switching there, as it would be easier to use, can handle much more then normal SFM and produce greater quality stuff, as well as easier to port models to, but just need to figure out a few major issues with texture conversions and also some important bones of 4 legged models disheartening when applying rigs to that are 100% vital to have, and can not be used without them, at least not without looking real jank. Feel free to message me in discord if you may be able to help with either one, or both, I would greatly appreciate it, and likely would bring major improvements to my work, visually that is, maybe some other areas, who knows.
