Hadn't mentioned it here prior, but...
Been having a tender spot in my lower-right abdomen for a little over a month now.
Saw PCP for it, twice. No fever, no high white cell count, all tests normal.
Got ultrasound yesterday, to finally find out why. Checked results online this morning
Turns out it was actually highly atypical acute appendicitis!
So! Had my appendix out today, now recovering at home.
Robotic/laproscopic appendix removal is an outpatient deal these days.
Three small incisions, on the left side intriguingly enough.
Aside from expected soreness, feel much better already!
Interesting, but overall positive start to the year!
