Jacob “Jake” Hamilton is an African wild dog usually between the ages of 6 and 8. He is a typical boy and has a range of interests, most particularly dinosaurs and other animals, video games, especially anything Nintendo, junk food, reading, and playing outside with other kids. Personality wise he tends to be very upbeat and extroverted and gets along with others as long as they aren't rude to him. He's been told that he's mature for his age, but ironically that goes to his head and he goes out of his way to prove his maturity to others, often resulting in him getting scrapes and bruises. He enjoys independence and being a role model, which unfortunately often leads to him refusing to ask for help when he needs it. Though he's a bit of a showoff, he has a kind heart and (usually) a good head on his shoulders.

As for the human: Call me Jake for lack of anything else. I'm a college student, just beginning to delve into the little world. I've kind of had an interest in this for a while, but, similarly to my interest in the furry fandom in general, did my best to smother it in the hope that it would go away. (It didn't.) So I'm here testing my limits, seeing what I like and don't like about this part of the fandom.
This isn't a sexually charged thing at all for me. It's really more of a comfort thing, stress relief. I have a lot of nostalgia surrounding my middle to late childhood, and this is a way I've hoped will help me relive that part of my past when I need a break from the adult world. I'd hesitate to call myself a babyfur because Jake is pretty explicitly not a baby (barring my noncanon-to-Jake's-character story Turning the Clock) and I'm definitely not an ABDL as I have zero interest in diapers or being treated as a literal baby, sexually or otherwise. This makes me kind of an oddball in this part of the fandom, I've found, but whatever. I'm here for the cute baby animals.

I'm not much of an artist, but I write. I take requests if I like the topic you suggest, and if you want to throw money at me to write something for you, I'm definitely not gonna stand in your way. Send me a note!

Feel free to strike up a conversation; in contrast to Jake I'm a major introvert but I don't think I'm unfriendly, and I'd really like to make friends with people here. I'm not very experienced with RP so my stance on that is leaning toward "no", especially if I don't know you or if it's sexual. I don't tolerate any underage characters in sexual situations. I'm very much a fan of "clean" art in all senses of the term and because of that I'm pretty picky about who I follow, so no malice is intended if I don't follow you back.
