In a month, it will be four years since I made my fursona and joined this website!

And never once did I write a journal...

But what if I did, from time to time? I feel like most of my attention goes towards bluesky, but I don't dislike fA or anything. I actually kind of wish I used it more! I feel like my fA-only followers know so little about me, so I'd like to use my journal more often. Just like the good ole days of deviantArt when I was a teenager, using it like a public diary.

So I think I'll spruce this place up. Maybe I'll consider it a part of my New Year's resolutions (in addition to trying every nut butter,) to try to figure out how to make a nicer profile and stuff, and try to be more social here. I'm not always super active when it comes to drawing art, but I can at least fav more and say a little here and there about the goings-on in my life.

Since it's almost the new year, might as well reflect!
It's been an interesting 2025 for me! I turned 30, and it had some really incredible highs, and really shitty lows. I got to see many long-distance friends for the first time in years! Then I had to grieve with family. I got a boyfriend! Then I no longer got a boyfriend. Work was stressful, but also rewarding. It was an up and down year, for sure.

You've seen sneak peek art at a new character I've been brewing up- all of these OCs exist lovingly in my head, I just don't draw them enough haha
His ref sheet has been half-finished for, like, a month. I gotta get on that...

Also furry related, I may 👀 be on a waitlist for a really nice v2 fursuit...!
I'm proud of myself for what I crafted, buuuut.... someone else could make something much better (and more comfortable LOL)
So I'm pretty excited about that!!

Looking towards the new year with optimism, looking forward to living my life the way that'll make me happiest. I'd love to maybe even try to get to my first furcon..? That would be amazing! I'll see how the finances are later, lmao

and looking forward to getting to know FurAffinity a bit more, after all this time :)
