So if you're reading this, you probably want to know more about me.

Unfortunately, I really suck at writing profiles like this because I never really know what or how much to say, so don't be surprised if you walk away from this with no more information than you started with.

I'm a writer...or I'm trying to be. I honestly want to be a professional writer, or at least get to where I could make a living from my work, but I haven't really made a lot of progress in that department. I've been told I'm good, or even great, but there's always someone better. So I keep writing and hope to improve.

It seems like there's no shortage of writers out there or people who just want to share their stories with others, so you might ask, Why do this?

Well the simple answer (and this will make me sound egotistical) is that when I first started reading furry stories the content out there was...lacking. Which isn't to say that it was all bad, but so much of what I read focused soley on sex and not enough on story.

Which, hey, sex is great, don't get me wrong. But I wanted more. I wanted emotional attachment. I was tired of the same old set up where two people meet, have sex, and then are pledging their eternal love for each other during the afterglow.

I wanted...(dramatic pause)...romance.

Which okay, so I'm a sucker for that kind of thing, I get it. But still, that was what I wanted and that was what I searched for and zip is what I found.

So, being an enterprising young man, with my head in the clouds and no knowledge of just how hard such an industry can be, I decided to take matters into my old paws and write what I wanted to see.

The results were good...but not good enough. And therein lies the problem. Reaching for the stars doesn't mean you'll actually catch one. I've learned a lot through the process of putting pen to paper (or electronic text to blank white screens) and I've definitely picked up on a few of the more basic concepts.

But where to go from there?

Which is pretty much where I am now. I'm better than bad, but not great, and the resulting work is slow and painstaking because I criticize everything I write to the point that very little makes the light of day (or the light of the internet at least).

I'm slow to put out anything new, but it's not from lack of stories to tell. Just a lack of patience with the writing process as a whole.
