Tempestus Stormcaste


Writer, engineer, self-proclaimed connoisseur of art.
A DM who works too hard to share with those who join me: a view into a world years in the making.

A fiction writer whose perfectionism and drive, both, stand in the way of his hope of ever finishing what he's started.

An engineer who lets his enjoyment of grounded reality bind his fictitious works down when they could soar.



There are many imperfections I call my own. Many problems I've yet to overcome.

But there is joy in that, there is pain, and most importantly, there is progress.

I'll ever strive to be the best version of myself.



Even if that version is yet a ways off.
Tempestus is a reflection of myself living in a world I called Cavera.

Though mottled by storytelling and the necessity it places upon a character's way of acting.



He started out as a simple D&D character—a dragon meant to accompany his siblings, my players, as they made their way through a world then so new and unwritten.

Meant to inject drama and life into a campaign premise that was so incredibly new to me at the time. A tool I, as DM, could use to steer and prod.



He was boisterous, he was order to a party of disorder, he was loathed, then he was beloved.

He grew from a contemporary villain, honor bound by his own self-proclaimed law, into a pillar the party relied on.

He developed as a character, from a tempestuous youth into a calm and reliable rock.

No longer just a side character in a D&D game but an idealized version of myself.

Then he grew again, into the personification of myself I now use here.



Its with great pride that I slowly bring more of the little world I call my own to the public eye.

Through Art, lore, and should life smile upon me, as a novelization of over ten years of hard work.
