So I'm wondering what you all bring to the table on any given day. Lets do an 1850 list
Army: Tyranids
HQ.
Hive Tyrant with wings and two twin linked Devourers (i replace his two psychic powers with biomancy and hope for Enfeeble or Endurance.)-260pt
Hive Tyrant with wings and two twin linked Devourers (same as above)-260pt

Doom of Malan'tai (I switch out Cataclysm for Psychic Shriek)-90pt
Mycetic Spore-40pt
8 Ymgarl Genestealers-184pt
7Ymgarl genestealers-161pt
Troops.
12 Gaunts with Fleshborers60pt
12 Gaunts with Fleshborers-60pt
Tervigon with Adrenal glands and toxin sacs (I switch out Domination for Phychic shriek) -180pt
Tervigon with Adrenal glands and tocin sacs (I switch out Domination for Phychic shriek) -180pt
Heavy Support.
3 Biovores-135pt
Mawloc-170
Fortifications.
Aegis Defence Line-50pt
Comms Relay-20
Theme.
Start of the game: I stick the biovores behind the Aegis line to hold the comm relay. Set up one Tervigon somewhere close to the biovores to look like a bigger target so the enemy doesn't shoot the biovores and the other Tervigon in a tactically sound spot to be a distraction. I place the gaunts somewhere in or behind cover if i can but if not i keep them out in the open so the enemy hopefully pays attention to them for a quick kill point and leaves the rest of the army alone. Then i place the Mawlock behind something (once again if I can) or just set him up to be another distraction to take the fire off of the Tervigons. The Doom of Malan'tai, the two dakka flyrants and the two ymgarl genestealers are in reserve.
Turn one: I spawn some Gaunts and move forward like a good little Nid player, drop the Mawloc underground (providing he's still alive) and land some large blasts on a juicy target with the biovores. Honestly turn one isn't all that great :(
Turn two: this is where the fun happens :D almost everything comes in and as soon as it does it starts to tear apart enemy's left and right. The Doom sucks out the life of anything near it, the Mawloc pops up and says "hi" hopefully killing something but if not then its a huge distraction for the enemy to have to deal with), the Flyrants start taking potshots at the side armor of tanks and the ymgarl genestealers do what they do best.....kill.
Well that's my list and i hope to hear from the rest of you.
