Just something to help people know more about me!

I am a non-binary gay person. I am mixed with African-American, Caucasian (Scottish, Irish, and Polish), as well as slight Native American but nothing noteworthy as it goes far back in the family tree. I used to live in and around Detroit but now I live more rurally. Although it makes it harder to get to my university, I don't mind the trek as it is very peaceful out here. Also, I can grow bigger plants in my garden. I can also use this as an opportunity to learn loud instruments like Electric Guitar and the Drums. The instruments I do know how to play (Violin and Trumpet) I don't have access to at this current moment.

I have a boyfriend of 8 months and we do a lot of things together but one of the things we do most is playing Smash Bros. Ultimate together at his place, or go out to eat sushi. He is just stepping into the fandom himself and is not a hardcore furry by any means. However, he is very accepting of me being a raccoon and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I also have 2 furry friends. One is also new to the fandom but is a bit more willing to try new things, his fursona is a protogen called, "Mozzarella" or "Mozz" for short. I drew his fursona a while ago and he appreciates the drawing. He is dating the other friend that I mentioned earlier who is also a furry. This other person is the most experienced in the fandom and he has a deer sona that is called "Pixel". Mozz and Pixel have been dating for a month now and I hope they have some great times together. I somewhat experienced into the fandom myself. I have been hesitant and skirting around the fandom for a couple of years before finally deciding to join my freshman year.

I plan on learning the drums, guitar, and bass. I also plan on improving my art skills for the future. I love bands like Weezer, Green Day, Fallout boy, American Football, and the Front Bottoms. Midwest punk is something I always enjoyed and recently me, mozz, and pixel all came together one day to try and learn instruments and we formed a band. So far, we came up the name "Scatterbrains", and I think that will be our permanent name at least for the time being. Outside of band stuff, me and pixel like to skateboard, and all three of us like to play halo and Minecraft together.

I hope to get used to the platform quickly as well as use this as an opportunity to know more people and hopefully acquire a fursuit in the future.
