Happy belated New Year everyone! I know I've been kind of radio silent for a while, but I've been working in the background to get things back up and going again. Recently I've been going through my sketches from last year and found a good 67 to color and upload, and that was a slow year for me - a lot of personal stuff getting in the way, E.G. trying to work with the schedule at my new job, working to improve my mental health, all that fun stuff. Most of that has been settled, fortunately, so this year is looking up for the art side of my life! I did want to go over a few changes on how I plan on doing things, just to give people an idea of what to look for out of this gallery moving forward.

Toning it Down

For personal reasons, I won't be doing adult content any more. That's not to say I won't have any ladies in skimpy outfits or saucy poses, just that I won't be going all-in on the really dirty stuff. I'm not necessarily opposed to artistic nudity, but since it's hard to really find the fine line between that and straight up adult content, I'll probably be refraining from that until/unless I can really define a hard line.

Regular Updates

Having 67 sketches ready to be completed means I've got at least one per week for the rest of the year and then some, so I'm hoping to have at least one finished piece a week moving forward. Other than that I'm not going to push myself too hard to get regular updates posted, but I'm hoping with everything being fairly clear in my personal life, that won't be a problem.

More Focus on My Webcomic

People who have been here for a bit might remember the brief period where I posted a webcomic here (which I took down because, let's face it, FA isn't the best for posting webcomics unless they're just short one-offs). I'm currently rewriting the whole thing from start to finish, the name of the comic being The RuneSpark Prophecy. The reason I bring this up is that, going through my sketches, I've noticed the vast majority of them feature these characters. I'm just drawn to them (no pun intended), so why fight it? In other words - moving forward, I'll be focusing on RuneSpark characters. I figure I'll also put up a "RuneSpark Lore" folder in my gallery to explain things like the fictional races or anything else relevant to the world, but otherwise, I'll try to keep things Canon to the story without necessitating any sort of research. Some of the characters you'll recognize as equivalents to some characters I'm already posting here - Ubi is a spinoff of Ubasti, Li is basically a shorter, squat Tenkyo, and Viper is... basically the same. A few characters are kind of "homeless", like Zeke and Blair, and Dragon Cameron basically just resembles the RuneSpark Cameron in name and color palette only at this point, but I might keep drawing them (and the other "FA" versions of the cast) in their own pocket universe.
