I went to work for like three hours tonight. Bleh bleh bleh. Same old crap but something felt weird. On the way home I dunno what came over me but I lost it. I pulled into my driveway and sat there in the quiet darkness for about two hours just thinking of all the things I've done through life. Where has that time gone? I was so carefree and happy back then, what happened? At what point did I become the man I am today who is willing to do whatever it takes for personal gain? It's funny but I started to tear up a bit (Yeah a few tears get over it) as this wave of emotion over the simple fact that I feel, lost, to myself. Whenever someone around you passes, their death has a funny way of impacting you. Subtle or not. It was in that small amount of time that I realized I want very much to be like the lazy otter and just float down the river, relaxed, and enjoying his melon. Each day should be treated as the last and never take anything for granted. Time is short, even if it doesn't feel like it, so enjoy it. Live and love to the fullest, that's the motto of this little Treeotter. You never know when it'll end.
