I specialize mostly in traditional media and arts and crafts. For several years I've been doing comics on Deviant Art, Sheezyart and Storm-artists. I came here mostly try to get some more exposure for my Howdy Doo comic and some others I have lined up for 2016.

RIP Ralph E. Hayes Jr. (G)
I just found out earlier today that fellow cartoonist and longtime online friend of mine https://www.furaffinity.net/user/rhjunior/ has passed away, dying peacefully in his sleep last night night. He created several of my favorite webcomics such as Tales of the Questor, Quinton Quinn: Space Ranger, Nip & Tuck, Goblin Hollow(previously titled Under the Lemon Tree) Tally Ho and Camp Calomine. And authored several fanfictions like Rise of Darth Vulcan, The Great Alicorn Hunt, Ladybird, Nyx's Family, Fanfic is Crapsack and many others. He was also the artist for The Old Victorian webcomic by Daniel Meyer. He's actually one of the people that inspired me to become a cartoonist; Howdy Doo was partially inspired by Tally Ho and Reptile House by Nip & Tuck and Under the Lemon Tree. Even art style for those works were somewhat based on his. The man really had a gift for writing, especially humor and witty commentary, that really should've garnered a larger following than it did. What I liked most about his writing is how he incorporated his faith into his works, and he wasn't afraid to bring up uncomfortable topics, such as the suicide of a main character's best friend in Goblin Hollow. And I enjoyed listening to him talk about theology and politics whenever he was live streaming. He was by no means a perfect man, he was quite honest about his own failings moral, spiritual and financial, on his live streams and journals. He also struggled quite a lot physically with numerous ailments for basically as long as I've known him, which was back in the early twenty teens, including a condition that caused legs to swell up with excessive fluids effectively rendering him immobile, forcing him to rely on art commissions for income in a rundown trailer house. Only a few years ago was finally able to go into assisted living where he would spend his last days surrounded by his loved ones. His comics weren't just a source of inspiration, they were also a source of joy and comfort for me when I was still navigating early adulthood. Something I always looked forward to were either his live streams or new pages of his comics or new chapters of his fanfics. I still remember when the 1,000 page milestone was reached for Nip & Tuck. It's sad to think that there will be no more updates, no more pages and many of his stories like Tales of the Questor and Quinton Quinn: Space Ranger and many fanfics will never get a proper conclusion. At least now, all of his earthly have finally come to an end as he joins his late father in the arms of the Lord.
Farewell, old friend. May we someday meet on the other side.
