Tiny Paws Con is a 3-day event held in Danbury, CT.
Our event dates are: August 17-19, 2018
(Note: The August dates for 2018 are our preferred dates for our event. Due to other bookings, we had to take the September dates for our 2017 event.)
So what is Tiny Paws Con? Most of you have probably sussed we're a convention of some sort. And you would be correct! (Anything I say from here on out is not the strict gospel and may expand and morph as we proceed, but for now...) We will have dealers and tabletop gaming. Our focus (not to the exclusion of other topics) will be creativity. Does that mean this is a convention just for artists? Heavens no! Creativity comes in many forms—drawing/painting, writing, jewelry making, crafts, music, computer programming, sculpting, dancing, woodworking, acting, singing, cooking, and the list is almost endless--and we want to celebrate all of it, everything from Dark Natasha-level of detailed artwork on down to pipe cleaner animals. If you were a child prodigy of the bongos when you were three, if you managed to not eat ALL the glue in kindergarten, we want to celebrate the infinite imagination we are all capable of. We intend that most of our programming will revolve around hands-on creating for all artistic levels and all ages, as well as instruction and tips on all things furry. We also want social events involving creativity, including knitting/crocheting/sewing for charity—hats, mittens, scarves, blankets, and the like—or Stitch ‘n’ Kvetch as we’ve been referring to it.
And who are we? Tiny Paws Con is founded by the former co-founder and co-conchair of FurFright, K'gra Leopard, and Slidewolf, who served as her Assistant in the Dealers' Dungeon. Tabletop gaming is run by Spotweld, who ran the Gaming Department at FurFright for 10 years. The Expo with our spectacular dealers will be run by Tabbiewolf, using FurFright's template of great customer service and special treats for our hard-working dealers. Our Charity room will be run by Riismo, who held the same position for 10 years with FurFright. Our Programming Department will be run by Johnny Not-So-Sane, who served as a vital staffperson with FurFright for many years. Our Registration Department will be run by Inazuma, who is new to our crew but brings years of experience working with the public and for local charities.
If you have questions, visit our webpage at http://tinypawscon.org/ for more info and to contact our staff. We are also available on Twitter (@TinyPaws_Con) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TinyPawsCon/)!

What is Camp Tiny Paws?
August 17-19, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Danbury
Three days (Friday --> Sunday)
Campers 13+ years old: Chipmunk $40, Owl $60, Deer $100, Wolf $200
Campers 7-12 years old: $10 (3-day basic admission)
Campers 0-6 years old: FREE (3-day basic admission)
We are showcasing 39 different artists, crafters, and vendors in our Expo!
https://twitter.com/TinyPaws_Con/st.....01520588103681
We also have our Tabletop Gaming Lodge, a Photography Studio, and the Craftaggedon, our open crafting room, all of which will be open to our campers throughout the weekend.
For just $1 a ticket, you can enter to win from a large selection of items in our Charity Raffle (located in our Expo) to benefit the Connecticut Humane Society.
Want to further help us support the Connecticut Humane Society? Think about donating books, art, movies, costuming items with you!
Attend any of our 21 panels about writing, painting/drawing, our fandom, furry literature, sign language, tabletop gaming, business and self-employment, law, psychology, cupcakes, story times, comedy, gardening, commissioning artists, and video games.
Then there's our Main Lodge!
Uncle Kage's Story Hour, karaoke, dancing, our Talent Show, Floor Wars, Nintendo Switch gaming event, three days of Camp Olympics, games for our little Butterflies, our Happy Birthday Celebration, and Pub Trivia.
Also joining us will be the Utopia Descending LARP group!
Further charity fundraising will take place during our charity poker game (with a sweet prize for the winner!), and Vampire and D&D campaigns!
Our Wolf campers will also enjoy two exclusive events:
Saturday morning breakfast buffet with our GOHs Boozy Badger, Shadra, and Patch O’Furr,
and for our 21+ year old Wolves... a sake tasting with our GOHs and led by Uncle Kage!
Our Counselors are constaff veterans with decades of experience between them, along with a few who are newer to their positions but no less passionate. All of us are devoting this weekend to you, putting our hearts and souls into our work.
We honestly care about you and about providing the best possible experience for everyone who joins us. We have been working hard for months now, putting together an amazing weekend, helped by our cadre of panelists and event organizers.
Talent Show participants and Floor Wars competitors must attend a mandatory rehearsal/try-out session Saturday morning at 10am in the Main Lodge.
Our Talent Show will be judged by Quotation Marks and the badgotts, Patch O’Furr, and Uncle Kage! Awards will be given!
Our Gaming Lodge will also feature a gaming store, thanks to the Tabletop Gaming Center of Newington, CT, to go along with our tournaments and game demos available throughout the weekend!
Our Gaming Counselor SpotWeld will also have a huge library of tabletop games!
Do you have the nerve to face the depths of Craftaggedon? Enter a chamber of beads and baubles, paints and paper to create treasures from the depths of your imagination in our open crafting room!
And because we didn't want it to be too scary, this is a glitter-free zone.
Campers will need to bring one of the following photo IDs:
driver's license
non-driver's photo ID
military photo ID
passport
We do not accept expired documents or temporary IDs.
Minors 17 and under must also bring a notarized copy of our Parental Consent form.
We will have THREE days of Camp Olympics--open to fursuiters and non-fursuiters alike!
Teams will vie for daily ribbons. Participants will receive a raffle ticket--fursuits/costumes get 2--to win a free 2019 registration!
Have limited mobility? You can join in the fun!
If you have limited mobility, our con space is located on two floors and is accessible by elevator from the main and second floor lobbies.
If you need special accommodations for your hotel room or would need special assistance during an emergency, let the front desk know!
Is your birthday during or near to the weekend of our event? We've got a special party just for you!
Join the rest of us so we can sing you a horrible but thoughtful rendition of "Happy Birthday" and enjoy a slice of cake with all your new friends!
If you have any questions, please email us via our Contact webpage at https://www.tinypawscon.org or message us on Twitter!
