Day 2: Irritability and Pikmin (G)
Today's a "rip somebody's face off" kind of day. I woke up and immediately got pissed off because dad's up to his usual bullshit again. Coupled with the fact that I didn't sleep for shit last night, I'm really on the cusp of committing arson. If only I could.
On a lighter note, I got a new headset and a copy of Pikmin 3 like...three days ago. My old headset broke at the base of the right earpiece. So, R.I.P, expensive headset. You will be missed. It was a Turtle Beach Recon 200, and it was the best set I've ever used. Fantastic sound, good mic.... Too bad the tension of putting it on did it in. Usually, the headphones I use have issues with the jack connection after a certain number of years. Ah well. I had the Recon 200 for about three or four years. So, they've had a good run. Now, I just have a Turtle Beach 70p set. I don't have to rely on a charge to keep them on. Haha. And they say chorded sets are dead.
I played Pikmin 3 for about twelve hours a day for three days. So far, things are great. However, the Scornet Maestro is proving to be a bit difficult. I made a huge mistake and went into the fight with more red, yellow, and rock Pikmin than flying ones. So naturally, I got my ass handed to me; and I lost over 100 Pikmin in one fell swoop. I'm not making that mistake again. I may try the fight again later with a whole Pikmin squadron. Have I said Pikmin enough in this entry?
Anyways, I'm gonna go listen to the Transformers '86 movie soundtrack. See ya!
