I'm just a normal lion who likes to write and some times commission pictures. All the art is done by other artists, but I do all of the writing. As for myself, I'm a author, a computer programmer, and a great many other things.
Okay, I hate to have to say this but I've kind of been forced. No, I do not RP, and yes, this means you.

Dental Disaster (G)
It has not been exactly a great few weeks for me when it comes to my dental health. It's been one of those one thing after another plus a big chunk of emergency spending.
Things actually started good, going in for my annual cleaning on a Monday, and having it go really well. They did the pokey test, and a lot of the numbers had gone down (this is good) and over all things have been improving. So yeah, that part was a win for me. There was one tender part around one molar, but that was it.
That tender era though didn't stop hurting for the next few days, along with a mind ongoing headache, That weekend though, thinks went really bad, getting a sharp stabbing pain in the tooth, along with it becoming super sensitive to temperature changes. It lasted for a good twenty minutes or so before settling down into just general bad pain.
I was able to get back into the dentist first thing on Monday to get it looked at, and it turned out that the tooth in question had an infected. It was going to need a root canal to clear out the infection. I was put on antibiotics and had an appointment for the root canal. The antibiotics helped over the next few days, the pain going down over all, though I was left with a gum bubble that seemed to be getting larger.
Over the last few days before the root canal (starting right after work on Friday, because of course it did) the pain came back, everything becoming tender and sensitive, even a little bit of pressure hurting, didn't mater where it was on the tooth. The gums were also slightly swollen just enough to make it misaligned with my upper teeth and push against them as well.
I was happy to go in for the root canal on Monday (and as an aside, my dentist is a really good one, and has managed to save a couple teeth that he wasn't sure could be saved). Turned out the infection was really bad. He was able to get it treated and cleaned, though it took a long time and a lot of work, but he managed it. The pain is now pretty much all gone, leaving me with just an over all ache, along with another round of antibiotics. Everything has gone down, and is nearly gone at this point.
So, I'm recovering, which is going well, and able to stay focused and on task, and have more energy. The down side is that this whole process, as long as it took, was faster then the insurance moves, so I'm waiting for a reimbursement. In addition my current job is wrapping up at the end of the month, and that's stressing me out considering how long it took to get that job.
