My characters (All three are in their twenties and are straight.):
Kaige - A big male red dragon. He's a bit cocky and self-promoting, but underneath it all he's very friendly and loyal to those he cares about. He is mated to the lovely Kiley.
Kiley - A red dragoness. She is Kaige's better half. Her personality is demure yet playful. She has her moments of sauciness though. She is very loving to her friends and is a chronic hugger. If she likes you, you will be hugged.
Tammy - A petite female cream colored Calico with multi-colored patches. This pretty kitty knows how beautiful she is and likes to show it off. She's smart and sassy, but also very caring.

Realistic Shirts for Winged Characters (G)

How would you think they would work? I suppose this would also apply to coats, jackets, and the like. They can't impede wing movement or cause discomfort or chaffing.
My ideas:
1) Slits in the back for the wings that either snap or velcro close after the wing is in. This could work for male or female characters.
2) Shirts have sides that snap, zip, or velcro close after putting them on. This however would leave the spots under the arms back to where the wings join open. Not a bad idea for warm weather though.
3) Female characters could have tops that tie around the back of the neck and below the spots where the wings attach. Kinda like how bikini tops work, but applied to actual tops instead of just bathing suits. (This is how my character Kiley's tops work.)
