Why do I adopt so many designs?

Going way back, long before I felt comfortable interacting with artists or had the money to afford commissions, there were lots of designs I admired greatly. Some just never seemed to get any use after the first picture, and I want to see more of them. Sometimes I've gotten lucky and artists have been willing to sell off designs for me to use. I've actually had other artists compliment me on the stories I've built around designs I got from them. I think it's also an effective way to show appreciation to artists who are either retired or no longer selling commission work.

If I have asked you if you're willing to sell off a design as an adopt, I am asking in good faith every time. I truly do respect your designs and want to take care of them and give them new life. At the same time, I understand if you're not comfortable with, or just not interested in, the concept of doing so.
